Underground Storage Tank Locate – Albuquerque, NM

Many environmental companies hire Ground Penetrating Radar Systems to investigate sites all over the country to ensure no utilities are damaged during the soil sampling process. Recently Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of New Mexico performed this service in Albuquerque and located all the utilities in the area and a UST still buried in the soil. The survey provided our customer with the precise location of all the utilities and the location of the UST that was believed to have been removed. This type of survey is crucial to the progress of the project as delays can be avoided along with the utilities.

Soil x-ray is an excellent technology to use to locate sub surface utilities because it can not only pin point the location of the utilities but also provide an accurate depth to the top of the anomaly. Soil imaging technology operates on a live feed system so anomalies are located in real time; which means the customer doesn’t have to wait for film to be developed. All Ground Penetrating Radar Systems technicians are trained and certified in the use of radar technology to ensure the most accurate interpretations of the data.
