UST Investigation At Cannon
Air Force Base In Clovis New Mexico

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems recently mobilized to Clovis, New Mexico to scan two areas at the Cannon Air Force Base. The customer wanted to locate one specified underground storage tank, UST, so that it could be removed before excavation. The Albuquerque GPRS office scanned the designated areas for UST’s and any utilities that may have indicated the presence of a UST. The information provided allowed D&H Petroleum and Environmental Services to know precisely where three UST’s were so that they could remove the tanks before excavation. Because precautions were taken, no harmful chemicals were spilled into the soil.
