Concrete Mapping For Kiewit - Albuquerque, NMConcrete Scanning For Kiewit - Albuquerque, NM

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. (GPRS) was called to scan the newly poured road at Paseo Del Norte and I-25 in Albuquerque, NM for Kiewit. The New Mexico DOT wanted to know the location of all of the reinforcing steel to ensure the structural integrity of the new road. Using ground penetrating radar, GPRS found all of the dowel and tie bars. The findings were collected and further processed off site. The findings were recorded and presented in a thorough report which was given to the NMDOT. With the information presented, Kiewit was able to continue with the construction process and the road was proven to be built to code.
