Concrete Analysis At National Guard Building
- Santa Fe, New Mexico

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems recently mobilized in Santa Fe, New Mexico to scan six small concrete areas on the fourth floor of the of the Santa Fe National Guard Building. The customer wanted to locate any reinforcing steel and was primarily concerned with conduits that were running through the slab. The Albuquerque GPRS office scanned the designated areas for reinforcing steel and conduit and found both metal decking cables and conduits. The information provided allowed Broken Arrow Electric to avoid hitting any reinforcing steel while saw cutting was being done. Because precautions were taken, no conduits were hit or severed and the construction site remained safe.

Here at GPRS we operate with the newest and most innovative GPR equipment; which is completely safe for both our clients and the job site because there is no radiation emitted from the equipment. What we find is immediately available to our customers because we can mark on the surface what we are seeing, and therefore no wait time is required. GPRS can help you locate post-tension cables, rebar, conduits, underground storage tanks and utilities.
